To be a Great Leader, you must be interested in the 4 Ps

Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.

“Leadership listens, inspires, motivates, and gives a direction, a common goal to aspire to”

To be a great leader, you must be interested with the 4 Ps.

1. POWER.

You must be interested to thrive more, upgrading yourself continuously and be in power. Power doesn't mean muscular strength but mental strength which leads you to lead people. Martin Luther King Jr was powerful because when he spoke to people they loved him to listen. You have built a powerful personality in terms of knowledge and skills.

2. PEOPLE

You must be interested to meet, listen and surrounder with growth mindset people. The majority of people often ignore listening to others and always try to throw their thinking and the way we act without understanding how and why others think and react. You have to learn about people before leading them.

3. PROCESSES

You must be interested to know how a certain thing is done, the process of learning, executing and developing. You must walk the talk, and not just express an idea but be committed to materialising it, making it efficient for everyone.

4. PROGRESS

You must be interested in progression, the consistency of achievements big or small, on a regular basis. You aren’t seeking perfection, but progress is what drives you to lead better.

A great leader empowers everyone, their employee, their friends, their followers and even their enemies. It’s in their nature to lead everyone without being selective and biased.

‘Leadership is influence — nothing more, nothing less.’

Integrity is a core quality that every leader must possess. You cannot lead people if you lack integrity.

One of the essential leadership qualities is the possession of honesty.

Active Listening is an excellent quality to have when it comes to leadership. Good leaders listen to people with great attention and sincerity. It helps them understand people and their perspectives. Active listening builds trust and relationships in the long term.

The roots of effective leadership lie in simple things, one of which is listening. Listening to someone demonstrates respect; it shows that you value their ideas and are willing to hear them. ~John Baldoni

Excellent communication is the key to good leadership. An effective leader knows how to put across his message. They are good orators and communicate to get his work done.

Problem-Solving Skills & Decision-making Skill- You would never envision a leader who is unclear and uncertain. When it comes to effective leadership, problem-solving skills are crucial.

The great leaders of business, industry, and finance, and the great artists, poets, musicians and writers all became great because they developed the power of self-motivation. ~Napoleon Hill
